Cevallos to Assume Greater Leadership Role for

Nation’s Largest Independent Hematology/Oncology Practice

Fort Myers, FL – December 21, 2015 . . . Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), the leading community oncology/hematology practice in the state, is pleased to announce that Sarah Cevallos has been named Chief Revenue Cycle Officer and is assuming a broad range of responsibilities in overseeing Revenue Cycle for the organization.

As Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, Sarah Cevallos is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to all Revenue Cycle responsibilities for the Florida Cancer Specialists’ physician network. In this role, she supports FCS through excellence in patient financial services, billing, timely collection, and precise payment posting, while delivering a positive patient experience. Sarah is also responsible for developing our payer partnerships. Since joining FCS, she has held several finance-related positions of increasing responsibility. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University and an MBA from Western Governors University with a concentration in Healthcare Management. In addition to her work with FCS, Sarah serves as Clinical Practice Committee Member for the Florida Association of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO).
