Physicians Education Resource® Partners with the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology

PER® and FLASCO to collaborate to develop cancer awareness and provide professional educational opportunities that enhance their missions

(Cranbury NJ, January XX)- Physicians Education Resource®, LLC (PER®), has partnered with the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, (FLASCO), to continue to promote education to the oncology health care community, announced PER® President Phil Talamo

In making this announcement, Talamo stated, “We are pleased to join in this collaboration agreement with such an important and influential member of Florida’s oncology network. PER® prides itself on providing high-quality, evidence-based education from leading facility members of the oncology health care community, and this agreement will further promote our mission.”

In this partnership, FLASCO will promote PER® conferences through multiple channels in their membership. Each party agrees to display each other’s promotional materials at their events in Florida, as well as FLASCO be named a endorser to be featured on all print and meeting materials. Additionally, FLASCO members will be given a discount to the following PER® conferences:

  • 13th Annual International Symposium of Melanoma and Other Cutaneous Malignancies® on February 11th
  • 21st Annual International Congress on Hematologic Malignancies® February 23rd-25th
  • 34th Annual Miami Breast Conference®, March 9-12th
  • 4th Annual Miami Lung Conference®, April 8th

FLASCO consists of over 2,300 of Florida’s medical, radiation, surgical, gynecologic, and pediatric oncologists; oncologists in training; and their physician’s assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other support staff. The state-supported society focuses on providing education, timely disclosure of important information and support to Florida’s oncologists.
