The Florida Department of Health is a partner in conducting four free webinars during the month of January 2020.  The webinars are intended to raise awareness and knowledge of radon, the leading environmental cause of lung cancer in the United States.

You have the ability to affect change as it pertains to reducing radon-induced lung cancer. We hope you will allow at least one 30-minute presentation to enter into your schedule to participate in a webinar that best suits your interest and role.

Attached is the announcement. This announcement provides the specifics on each presenter and presentation. The announcement also provides a link to register for one or more of the presentations.  Once you register for the webinar(s), an email will be sent to you with your link to join the webinar(s) you signed up for.

Florida Radon Facts sheet is attached. The Florida DoH hopes this is of assistance to you.

Please remember that you need to register in order to attend. Each webinar has limited space. You may register with this link:https://forms.gle/jpJbmDkRFMxK98h67

If you have any questions, please direct them to Ferda Yilmaz of the Florida Radon Program.

The Florida DoH looks forward to having you join the webinars in January.
