New Medical Oncologist Joins in Palatka

Palatka, FL – February 1, 2018. . . Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), the leading medical community oncology/hematology practice in the state, is pleased to announce that Medical Oncologist/Hematologist, J. Wynn Sullivan, DO has joined the statewide practice and will be seeing patients at the Palatka office located at 600 Zeagler Drive, Palatka, FL 32177.

FCS CEO Brad Prechtl said, “We are delighted to welcome Dr. Sullivan to Florida Cancer Specialists. He has established an excellent reputation in Putnam County and will offer added convenience for our patients in the surrounding areas.”

Dr. William Harwin, Founder and President of FCS, added, “Dr. Sullivan has been practicing in the Palatka area for over twenty years and is known as a caring and compassionate physician. We are very pleased to have him join the FCS family.”

Dr. J Wynn Sullivan received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Florida located in Gainesville, Florida, and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at NOVA Southeastern University located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Sullivan finished his Residency and Fellowship in Jacksonville, Florida, at the University of Florida Health Science Center with training in Medical Oncology and Hematology. He received additional training from the US Oncology Research in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Dr. Sullivan is actively involved in the American Cancer Society, having served two terms as its president, and has over 30 years of clinical experience, including industry and network trials. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, boating, hiking, kayaking and spending quality time with his wife and four daughters.
