Dr. Rakesh Rohatgi Merges His Practice With Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute

Tri-County Hematology & Oncology Joins FCS

 

 Fort Myers, FL –  August 3, 2015 . . .Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute , is pleased to announce that Rakesh Rohatgi, MD, is merging his practice (Tri-County Hematology & Oncology) with Florida Cancer Specialists and will be seeing patients at FCS cancer centers in both Ocala (1630 SE 18th Street – Suite 602, Ocala, FL) and The Villages (1503 Buenos Aires Blvd. – Bldg. 140, The Villages, FL).  

Dr. Rohatgi has practiced in Ocala and The Villages for over 20 years and works closely with other physicians, major teaching hospitals and other facilities in his local community. Originally from India, Dr. Rohatgi was awarded a fellowship in oncology/hematology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Orange, CA, where he also completed a research fellowship in the Division of Immunology. He participates in a weekly tumor board and attends seminars and continuing education courses that allow him to provide the most advanced and personalized treatments to his patients. Fluent in several languages, Dr. Rohatgi and his wife have twin sons in their early twenties, who both are pursuing a career in medicine and following in their father’s footsteps.
