At the 2018 ASCO Advocacy Summit this month, members of various categories of its 2018 Advocacy Champions were announced

President’s Circle – ASCO advocates who regularly participate in more than one of these advocacy activities: virtual advocacy (sending ACT Network emails); in person advocacy (conducting visits on Capitol Hill, with agency officials or at home in the congressional districts); engaging in grassroots advocacy (email/phone call with legislative staff, speaking on behalf of ASCO at briefings or providing hearing testimony, hosting lawmakers and staff for site visits at their practice locations)

We are proud to announce that FLASCO Member, Robert H. Cassell, MD, PhD and our Executive Director, Dorothy Phillips, have been named to the President’s Circle.

Senator’s Club  – ASCO advocates who participate in more than one of ASCO’s advocacy activities. FLASCO members Craig Deligdish, MD, Gilberto Lopes, MD, MBA and Merry Markham, MD, FACP were named to this category.
