Lung Cancer is the leading cause of death in Southwest Florida. Our mission is to reduce lung cancer mortality through the promotion of screening and early detection.
LATEST NEWS ABOUT LUNG CANCER
Lung cancer movement in the US is at a critical juncture. The 'Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services' (CMS) will decide in November whether or not to provide coverage for lung cancer screening using newer methods.
If the decision is made to provide coverage, we expect that, over the course of the next decade,
survivorship from a diagnosis of lung cancer will double or even triple, from the 16 percent that it is today. This is huge because, as more people survive lung cancer, the greater the awareness of lung cancer will be, which will result in greater funding for screening, diagnosis and treatment.

donation & participation can help.
